Editorial policy

Onside Post aims to publish accurate, fair and clearly sourced sports journalism. This page explains the standards every article is held to.

Accuracy and sourcing

We verify facts before publishing and attribute information to its source. Quotes are only used when we can confirm who said them and where.

Bylines and dates

Every article shows its author, its publication date and, when it has been changed meaningfully, the date it was last updated.

Analysis and opinion

Analysis and preview articles include the writer's judgement. They are labelled by section so readers can tell them apart from news reports and results.

Corrections

When we get something wrong we fix it and, for significant errors, add a note to the article. Report errors via our contact page.
